Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. This week's topic is a cover freebie. January is one of the worst months, weather-wise, where I live - it's cold, dark, and gloomy a lot of the time, plus this year we've had lots of rain, too. I decided to put together a little collage of covers from my TBR of places I'd rather be!
Great list! Emma Mills' books always seem to have such pretty covers, and I'd like to try Chanel Cleeton's work - I've heard good things. =)
ReplyDeleteI finally read Chanel Cleeton and I really enjoyed it!
DeleteOh these are just lovely! Especially Meet me in Monaco -- I love the vintage look to it.
ReplyDeleteMe, too!
DeleteOooh! This is an awesome topic! I would love to be sitting inside one of those covers right about now. Key West is one of my favourite places.
ReplyDeleteI've never been there but I would love to go!
DeleteOkay, so... not my favorite type of book cover, but I liked reading Meet me in Monaco, and I'm about to read The Girl in White Gloves.
ReplyDeleteGreat!
DeleteAh, pretty and summery covers! They lift the spirits, don't they?
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT!
They really do! Thanks, Susan!
DeleteI like your spin on the topic. I’d also like to be in any of those places. It’s snowing here right now. :(
ReplyDeleteAj @ Read All The Things!
We've been having warmer weather than normal, which also isn't fun - I'd like some snow!
DeleteSame here with the weather. I love covers that have a warm weather vibe- especially in winter lol. One Night at the Lake seems very summery, and The Girl In white Gloves is nice too.
ReplyDeleteHaha, right? Gives me something to look forward to!
DeleteYES!!!! Take me to any of those places. I really, really hate January and February here in PA. It's the doldrums. I swear, especially since we haven't had any nice snowfalls. I especially like the Key West cover. I'd love to be at the Keys today!
ReplyDeleteExactly, NJ is the same! I love that Key West cover, too!
DeleteLove the Lucky Caller cover, I need to look that one up!

It sounds really cute!
DeleteGotta love those nice summery covers, especially when the weather is anything but summery :) The Lucky Caller cover is absolutely gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI agree! It's different from her other covers, but I still love it.
DeleteWhat a great take on today’s topic! And from the looks of your picks you are totally ready for a warm beach getaway. :) I like the cover of Lucky Caller.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Tanya! Haha, yes, I am!
DeleteThese are all such lovely covers! I especially love the ones of Meet Me in Monaco and When We Left Cuba.
ReplyDeleteI am not a huge summer person, but I did spend quite a bit of time at the lake as a kid, and immediately gravitated to that cover.
ReplyDeleteI love how peaceful that one feels!
DeleteI LOVE your choices! Thank goodness we have books to transport us!
ReplyDeleteExactly! Thanks, Jennifer!
DeleteThose are so nice and summery! One of the things about the winter that sucks is how it gets dark so early and it's hard to get out and walk to the park before dark.
ReplyDeleteI know! It makes me feel like I need to go to bed immediately after work!
DeleteI really like the cover to The Last Train. Love the colors.
ReplyDeleteYes, that one is so pretty!
DeleteAll of these are so beautiful - makes me want to take a trip!
ReplyDeleteLet's plan one!
DeleteI love your theme for this week and the covers you chose are all gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Suzanne!
DeleteOMG, yes, can you take me with you there?
ReplyDeleteI featured my favorite covers of the decade https://wordsandpeace.com/2020/01/28/top-ten-book-covers-of-the-decade/
Haha, yes, let's all go!
