I can't believe I never got to The Highland Fling in 2022. I think I even pre-ordered it. lol I need to make that happen soon!
ReplyDeleteYes!!
DeleteBook Smart is one I had my eye on. It's great to see you loved it so much. The Wedding Ringer was a favorite of mine when I read it and quickly made Rea a must-read for me
ReplyDeleteYes, I'm planning on getting to Rea's next book soon!
DeleteI haven't read any of your favorites, Angela, but I do like your list. And a couple of them are already on my TBR. Right now, I'm reading THE ROSE CODE by Kate Quinn and liking it. Book club this Thursday to discuss and I don't think I'll get it finished, but I'll go and see what others thought. SIGNAL MOON is appealing to me. I need to go back and catch up on Quinn's backlist. The only one I've read is THE ALICE NETWORK and I loved that one.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Kay! I'm a little behind on Kate Quinn's books, but Signal Moon was a short story that really appealed to me!
DeleteThe Day the World Came to Town was such a good read!

Agreed!
DeleteI haven't read any of Tessa Bailey's books, but keep seeing this one on Top Ten lists, so I need to read it. Happy new year!
ReplyDeleteIt's so good! Happy new year!
DeleteI really need to start catching up on Kate Quiin. I am SO behind on her books and it makes me sad.
ReplyDeleteMe, too!
DeleteI'm so excited to see The Highland Fling on your list! I think it was on mine last year. I love MQ's books.
ReplyDeleteI read a couple of her books this year and I am a huge fan!
DeleteIt Happened One Summer is so good and Hook, Line and Sinker made it on my favorites list this year so you'll probably love it too. Tessa Bailey is an automatic read for me now.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely! She's pretty prolific, so I think it might be hard for me to keep up!
DeleteIt Happened One Summer was such a fun read indeed! The Wedding Ringer is on my TBR for 2023 (thanks to your rec) :)
ReplyDeleteYay!! I hope you love it!!
DeleteThe Day the World Came to Town is one that I want to read, especially after watching the documentary about the show Come From Away (which tells the same story).

I'm glad I finally got to it!
DeleteI love your summery picks! Meant to Be is on my wishlist.
ReplyDeleteYay, I hope you enjoy it!
DeleteWhat lovely picks -- the blurb for The Wedding Ringer made me lol!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Verushka!
DeleteI've not read any of these, but I love Kate Quinn's stuff so Signal Moon is definitely something I'll have to get to.

Enjoy!
DeleteI meant to read THE DAY THE WORLD CAME TO TOWN in 2022 and didn't get to it. I've heard wonderful things about it, so it's definitely on the docket for 2023. Glad you loved it and all these others.
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT (on a Wednesday)!
Thanks, Susan! Happy reading in 2023!
DeleteI keep seeing Tessa Bailey's books on a lot of Top Ten lists.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.
She's definitely very popular!
DeleteI love this graphic you made. I'll probably make one too whenever I post my stats.
ReplyDeleteThe one that caught my attention the most on your list is The Highland Fling. It seems highly improbably thing to move to work at a coffee shop but I love the idea of a grumpy love interest 😊
If you haven't read A Curious Beginning by Deanna Raybourn I'd highly recommend it! One of my favorites of the year.
Thanks, Adriana! Haha, yes, quite implausible, but fun nonetheless! Thanks for the rec!
DeleteMeant to Be and The Christmas Wish were on my list! The Christmas Wish was a total dark horse-had no idea I was going to love it like I did! I was very close to putting Newport on my "best of" list and Magnolia Palace. They were really good books, too! Great list, Angela!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Christina! We always seem to have a lot of books in common.
DeleteI still need to read The Highland Fling and Kate Quinn's story, but I loved the other books on your list.
ReplyDeleteYay! Hope you enjoy the rest!
DeleteNeed to look up Book Smart. That one looks fun. Also still have The Wedding Ringer on my shelf unread; it too sounds like a great and entertaining read. :)
ReplyDeleteI think Book Smart would be right up your alley, Rissi!
DeleteI'm glad you discovered so many great books! The Day The World Came to Town is one I've seen around a lot. I should probably read it. :)
ReplyDeleteI think you would like it - it's pretty different from what you normally read, I think, but it was fantastic.
