Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. This week's topic is our summer TBR. I was total garbage at my spring TBR - with my library being closed and having to rely on ebooks and audiobooks, it just didn't work out so well. I'm hoping I'll be able to get to all these books, and I've already put myself on the wait list for a few of them!
Where should I start first?
It took me a chapter or two to get into The Splendid and the Vile, but once I did I could not stop reading. Churchill has become my new favorite leader in a crisis.
ReplyDeleteI've loved his previous nonfiction books, so I have high hopes!
DeleteGreat list! The Southern Book Club's Guide to Slaying Vampires sounds so fun. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jess!
DeleteI'll be reading The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes this summer as well.
ReplyDeleteMy TTT .
I hope we both love it!
DeleteI loved Scythe - I need to read the last two. I also want to check out The Southern Book Club...

My sister can't recommend the Arc of a Scythe series enough!
DeleteSuch a fantastic list! I look forward to hearing your thoughts on In Five Years.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lori!
DeleteIn Five Years has been on my TBR for months. Hopefully we’ll both get to it this summer... and enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteHaha, mine, too - thanks!
DeleteJenn Bennett will always be on my TBR, and I loved ASoaH. The Bromance books are great, and Layne never fails me. In Five Years is one I have on my TBR, and I keep meaning to read a Staci Hart book too.
ReplyDeleteI'm listening to Undercover Bromance right now - so far, so good!
DeleteThunderhead is soooo gooood but I'd advice that you have The Toll ready with you because the cliffhanger is too much! Hope you enjoy your books, Angela! :)
ReplyDeleteOoh, thanks for the advice!
DeleteBallad was on my list this week too! I definitely need to get around to Thunderhead soon.

I think a lot of people will be reading Ballad!
DeleteI was so surprised by how much I love In Five Years!
ReplyDeleteI have high hopes!
DeleteLooks like a great and eclectic list -- enjoy!
ReplyDeleteSo many good choices here! I hope to do a read/listen combo of The Splendid and the Vile.
ReplyDeleteI hope we both love it!
DeleteThe Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes wasn't the best, in my opinion. At least the audiobook wasn't very great. =/
ReplyDeleteI've heard mixed things!
DeleteSo many ones on here! I loved Undercover Bromance, LL's book, and that Jenn Bennett book. Have fun with those this summer!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Deanna!
DeleteI am really curious about The Southern Book Club's Guide. I am going to look more into it because I haven't seen too many reviews around. Hope you enjoy all these!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Alicia!
DeleteOh I need Ballads of Songbirds & snakes. I should have had that one on my list. :) And honestly Slaying Vampires as well. I've seen some good reviews for that and now I want to read it.
ReplyDeleteYeah, me too!
DeleteYes to this TBR - and start with Thunderhead!
ReplyDeleteSoon!
DeleteI'm curious about Ballads of Songbirds and Snakes. Here is our Top Ten Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteMe, too!
DeleteI hope you love all these! I also need to read the Hunger Games book and the vampire one. Who knows when I’ll be able to acquire copies of them.
ReplyDeleteAj @ Read All The Things!
Thanks, Aj! I'm hoping I don't have too long a wait at the library.
DeleteI love your list. Thunderhead was excellent and I also adored Undercover Bromance. I'm hoping to get the vampire book read this summer too if I can fit it in.
ReplyDeleteAwesome, thanks!
DeleteOooh! I'm excited to read Songbirds too, even though it's about President Snow. Great list!
ReplyDeleteHere’s my TTT!
Ronyell @ Rabbit Ears Book Blog
Thanks, Ronyell!
DeleteThe Undercover Bromance was hilarious.
ReplyDeleteSo far the audio is pretty good!
DeleteOh I am loving the title The Splendid and the Vile! Undercover Bromance and South n Book CLub are other titles I've been lookingg forward to as well! Here's hoping they're as good as we hope!
ReplyDeleteYes, definitely!
DeleteI've read The Splendid and the Vile on Audiobook, and The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. I liked them both, but it depends on whether you're in the mood for fiction or nonfiction, I guess. I'd like to read In Five Years too. I hope your library becomes more accessible soon! Ours is offering curbside service now.
ReplyDeleteWe have curbside service, too, but they're still working on old holds!
DeleteNice list. Thousand letters looks like a good book.
ReplyDeleteHere is my TTT.

ReplyDeleteI have high hopes!
DeleteLooks like a great list, I hope you'll get to all of these this summer!
ReplyDeleteThe Bromance Book Club book and Scythe books are on my TBR as well and A Thousand Letters sound like a nice read. I had mixed feelings about Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, so looking forward to hearing your thoughts on it.
Thanks, Lindsey!
DeleteLove on Lexington Avenue looks cute!
ReplyDeleteI have to read The Betrothed. I don't care if it's getting mixed reviews! I loved The Selection series.
I know!! The bad reviews are not even putting me off of it; I'm waiting on a copy from my library right now!
