  1. I can't believe I never got to The Highland Fling in 2022. I think I even pre-ordered it. lol I need to make that happen soon!

  2. Book Smart is one I had my eye on. It's great to see you loved it so much. The Wedding Ringer was a favorite of mine when I read it and quickly made Rea a must-read for me

  3. I haven't read any of your favorites, Angela, but I do like your list. And a couple of them are already on my TBR. Right now, I'm reading THE ROSE CODE by Kate Quinn and liking it. Book club this Thursday to discuss and I don't think I'll get it finished, but I'll go and see what others thought. SIGNAL MOON is appealing to me. I need to go back and catch up on Quinn's backlist. The only one I've read is THE ALICE NETWORK and I loved that one.

  8. It Happened One Summer is so good and Hook, Line and Sinker made it on my favorites list this year so you'll probably love it too. Tessa Bailey is an automatic read for me now.

    1. Definitely! She's pretty prolific, so I think it might be hard for me to keep up!

  10. The Day the World Came to Town is one that I want to read, especially after watching the documentary about the show Come From Away (which tells the same story).

  14. I meant to read THE DAY THE WORLD CAME TO TOWN in 2022 and didn't get to it. I've heard wonderful things about it, so it's definitely on the docket for 2023. Glad you loved it and all these others.

    Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!

  16. I love this graphic you made. I'll probably make one too whenever I post my stats.
The one that caught my attention the most on your list is The Highland Fling. It seems highly improbably thing to move to work at a coffee shop but I love the idea of a grumpy love interest 😊
If you haven't read A Curious Beginning by Deanna Raybourn I'd highly recommend it! One of my favorites of the year.

  17. Meant to Be and The Christmas Wish were on my list! The Christmas Wish was a total dark horse-had no idea I was going to love it like I did! I was very close to putting Newport on my "best of" list and Magnolia Palace. They were really good books, too! Great list, Angela!

    1. I think you would like it - it's pretty different from what you normally read, I think, but it was fantastic.
