Top Ten Tuesday: My Winter TBR

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl.  This week's topic is our winter TBR!  I felt like for awhile there I was pretty good about getting to at least half of the books I pick for these seasonal TBRs, but I just looked at my fall post and realized I was total garbage at it (I literally just read two books from it in the past week - nothing like waiting until the last minute)!  So, a few of these are going to be carried over from last season and hopefully I will be better at this TBR!

Have you read any of these?  Where should I start first?

  3. I’ve also been garbage at reading my TBRs. I know that the books in today’s post have been in past seasons’ TBRs.

  5. I hope you get to read some of these this Winter. I like making TBRs for the season, but I don't always do well on them either. LOL

  6. Ha ha. I'm the same way. I make these TTT lists which such good intentions and then ... nothin'. Oh well, it's still fun to THINK about what you MIGHT want to read.

Speaking of, it looks like you've got great taste in books :) I love the Inspector Gamache series. It's one of my all-time favorite mystery series. I also really like Liane Moriarty, although her most recent books seem like they haven't been up to snuff. BIG LIES IN A SMALL TOWN is one I'm interested in reading as well. I hope we both love it.

    Happy TTT!

  8. That Lauren Layne book wasn't my favorite, but I still liked it AND it set up the rest of the series which I LOVED. I hope you love it!

  9. I've not read any of these, but I've been meaning to read an ARC I have of Big Lies in a Small Town, and The Blackbird Cafe seems really interesting! I hope you get to read these. :) Happy reading!

  11. American Royals was all the drama. I loved it! I really enjoyed We Met in December. It's that frustrating will-they-won't-they, but it was good. I liked Love on Lexington, but my favorite of the series was definitely the last book. The Last Anniversary and Serious Moonlight were both fabulous for me as well.

  13. I read part of Midnight at the Blackbird Café and it was good... but I'd recommend you start with We Met in December... at least that's what I'd do... because it's December now? I like to time my books that way though.

    1. I probably would have started there, but it hasn't come into my library yet!

  14. Ooo! American Royals sounds fun though I haven't read it. Currently reading We Met in December and thus far, it's quite fun! WAY better than Josie Silver's Christmas book last year (at least I think so). Thanks so much for the Finding Wonderland visit last week, Angela. :)

    1. I actually loved Josie Silver's book, so that actually makes me even more excited for We Met in December!

      Thanks, Rissi!
