Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. This week's topic is top ten books on our winter TBRs. Here are just a few of the books I'm hoping to get to in the next couple months!
Any suggestions for where I should start first?
Great list! I love the cover of The Glamorous Dead, I think I'll have to check that one out!
ReplyDeleteI know, it's so cool!
DeleteEvery time I see the cover of That Inevitable Victorian Thing I'm reminded of how gorgeous it is! Makes me want to read it based on that alone. Alex and Eliza is on my TBR list as well. I want to see what all the hype is about; however, Melissa's books have always been hit or miss with me in the past so I'm slightly worried about that. Great picks, Angela! I hope you love all of them!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lauren! I've been meaning to read That Inevitable Victorian Thing for awhile, but have been having some problems getting it at my library! Hopefully soon!
DeleteI enjoyed Mr. Rochester.
ReplyDeleteGreat! Jane Eyre is one of my favorites, so I'm excited for this one.
DeleteA few of these are on my 2018 TBR, which is already out of control. I`m mainly curious about "Renegades" and "The Life She Was Given", but the others seem good as well.
ReplyDeleteCarmen / Carmen`s Reading Corner
I'm really intrigued by the circus setting on The Life She Was Given!
DeleteNice list! I love the Inspector Gamache series. It's one of my all-time favorite mystery series. I also love Marissa Meyer, so I'm excited to give RENEGADES a go. It's a chunkster, so I'll probably save it for January. THE LIFE SHE WAS GIVEN is super sad, but it's also compelling.
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT!
I am so in love with the Gamache series! Good to know that The Life She Was Given is sad - I like sad books, but it's always good to be prepared!
DeleteNice list! There's quite a few on there that I'd like to get to also, particularly Mr. Rochester and That Inevitable Victorian Thing. Hope you get to these and love them!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jordan! I hope you love them, too!
DeleteWild Bird is one I have to and I almost started it, but I've been in a non- reading mood so I'm waiting. Soon though! That Inevitable Victorian Thing looks fun too.
ReplyDeleteAww, hope you get back in the reading mood soon!
DeleteSo excited about Renegades too! And after falling in love with Hamilton, Alex and Eliza is a must too :)
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping Renegades is a good one!
DeleteRenegades is on my own TBR too! As is Alex and Eliza. I'm not sure I'll have time to pick those up within the next few months though! 🙈 My reading schedule is a little manic at the moment!
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy what you do get to first! I can't wait to see what you think of some of these. 😊
Thanks, Di! Hope you love them whenever you get to them!
DeleteI am probably going to read I hate Everyone But You soon, because it's a fall book I didn't get to, but really want to read.
ReplyDeleteAwesome! Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on it!
DeleteI really want to give the Inspector Gamache series a try...I used to be anal about starting from the beginning of a series, but now I'm game to just jump right in!
ReplyDeleteI love the series, I would highly recommend it!
DeleteThe Garden of Small Beginnings is one I keep hearing such amazing things about. Can't wait to see what you think of it. I'm getting ready to start Renegades soon too. I'm really excited for that one!
ReplyDeleteYes, me too!!
DeleteI read Renegades and liked it. It was fun to read another Marissa Meyer book. I wasn't in LOVE with it, but I still really liked it. I have I Hate Everyone But You, but haven't found time to read it yet. Hope you get to all of these :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Michelle! Glad to hear you liked Renegades!
DeleteGreat list!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Erica!
DeleteOh this is such a great list! I haven't read any of these books, so... I couldn't really advise you on which one to get to first. I can't wait to hear your thoughts on That Inevitable Victorian Thing, though, that book sounded quite good and I love that cover! Also hoping you'll love Renegades, I loved The Lunar Chronicles series and this book sounded interesting, but...I have read some mixed reviews about it overall. Hope you'll love it! Happy reading :D
ReplyDeleteI know, I'm really excited about That Inevitable Victorian Thing - the concept is really unique, and yes, that cover is awesome!
