Top Ten Tuesday Holiday Gift Guide: Books for Baby's First Christmas

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by The Broke and The Bookish.  This week's topic is holiday gift guide.  We were so excited to welcome a niece and two nephews into our family this past year, so I wanted to share some books to buy the little ones for their first Christmas!  There are so many classic Christmas books, but for the first Christmas, I tried to stick to simpler books.  I chose some that celebrate the holiday season and others that they can enjoy throughout the coming year!

  4. My son has most of these books. His favorite is the Biscuit's Pet and Play and The Very Hungry Caterpillar because Eric Carl can do no wrong! Since you have some new neices and nephews to spoil, I highly suggest anything by Sandra Boynton. Her books are just wonderful for those first few years.

  5. Great list! Let's Play almost made my list too, but I ran out of room and had to eliminate board books. Some other good ones are:
    Steam Train, Dream Train Colors
Baby Loves Aerospace Engineering! (Baby Loves Science)

  12. I love the topic you picked!! My youngest is about to celebrate is 2nd Christmas, but he was only 3 weeks old last year. The only book we have from this list is The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Ten on the Sled and The Itsy Bitsy Snowman look so cute! I might have to pick those up. :)
