Top Ten Tuesday: Mardi Gras Colors

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl.  This week's topic is purple, yellow, and/or green book covers, in honor of Mardi Gras!  I put together a little collage with all three colors - is it just me, or are these some of the hardest colors to find on covers?

What did you find this week?

  1. Love these colors together but you're right... it was tough to find them!

  3. Great finds! Recursion and The Unhoneymooners were two of my yellows this week too. :) I agree that this was more challenging than I expected it to be. I struggled with purple. For some reason, every cover I've always thought of as purple looked blue when I put them with the yellow and green ones I had chosen.

    1. Yes! I found some covers that had purple elements, but to find a totally purple cover was hard!

  6. I actually found it easier than I thought, I thought green and yellow would be hard to find (I did a whole post about purple covers before, so I knew I could find those) but it turns out I've read quite a few books with those colour covers.

  7. I couldn't find any yellow cover among the books I have read! Though I do want to read Recursion!

  8. Beautiful! I always struggle with TTT color topics because you’re right about some colors being hard to find.

  9. Oh, I like how you made a grid out of them! I keep meaning to read I Capture the Castle, and not getting around to it.

I went with physical books I had on my shelves, and made a stack... without any gold books, because not one of my favorite "keeper" fantasy novels had a gold cover.

    1. Thank you! I could definitely find some green and yellow on my shelves, but purple would be more difficult!

  10. Great list! I've heard so many good things about The Unhoneymooners, I need to give it a try.
