Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. This week's topic is backlist books I want to read. I have a bunch of backlist novels on my TBR - the only problem was narrowing it down!
Have you read any of these?
Great list! I haven't read any Ruta Sepetys and I feel like she's an author I need to check out. I hope you enjoy these when you get to them!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jess! I've never read her, either!
DeleteI hope you can eventually get to them. I haven't read any of these. My post is here: https://wordsandpeace.com/2018/11/06/top-ten-backlist-books-i-want-to-read/
ReplyDeleteThanks, Emma!
DeleteSalt To The Sea is so good! It’ll probably be my favorite book I read this year. I hope you love all these!
ReplyDeleteAj @ Read All The Things!
I added it to my TBR because of your review!
DeleteI haven't read any of the books on your list but you have some cover porn going on. I so love a good cover! I also had a hard time narrowing down my list and ended up just writing about horror books I should've read forever ago.

Yeah, I'm pretty much a cover snob!
DeleteNarrowing down is always the hardest part. The Dollhouse and A Whole New World are two I'm really hoping to get to soon as well! I read Abundance a few years ago and really enjoyed it! It has a very distinct, somewhat lyrical style that I think fits the story and characters really well. I really need to read Salt to the Sea again soon. I hope you have a chance to read these!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jordan! Now I'm really looking forward to Abundance!
DeleteSalt to the Sea was a really good read. I hope you enjoy it when you get to it!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Alicia!
DeleteI've been meaning to get to Salt to the Sea, I hear it's really emotional though. And I cry at just about anything sooo. I'm gonna save it for when I am ready to sob XD
ReplyDeleteHappy Reading! :D
Haha, yeah, I'm a big crier, too! Will have tissues handy!
DeleteI hadn't heard of The Dollhouse before but I just checked it up and it sounds like it would be such an interesting read!
ReplyDeleteRight? Thanks for stopping by, Kyla!
DeleteI've only read one of these - the Mercy Alban book. I really like Wendy Webb's stories and she has new one out. Ha!
ReplyDeleteNice! I'll have to look into it!
DeleteSalt to the Sea is really good! I hope you read it soon!
ReplyDeleteI hope so, too! Will definitely have to make time for it.
DeleteI have read all LM's books, and The Last Anniversary ranks pretty high for me. It had all Moriarty's signature elements.
ReplyDeleteYay! It's the only one of hers I haven't read yet.
DeleteOoh The Last Anniversary- I want to eventually read more of Liane Moriarty's backlist too.
ReplyDeleteI've read all her others but somehow missed that one!
DeleteI just started Salt to the Sea this morning actually. I'm not too far in but it's riveting so far.
ReplyDeleteAwesome!!
DeleteThis list is so great -- in particular the Twisted Tales series? LOVE IT!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Verushka! I am obsessed with anything Disney, I'm really looking forward to that series!
DeleteHi Angela!!!!!! Oh dear - the backlist... Yeah, I think I am going to try do more of those backlist series that I've been meaning to read for AGES next year. 2019 - beat the backlist year? We'll see. Also I don't know how 'A Whole New World' slipped under my radar but the premise sounds great! Twisted Disney tales? Awesome. :)
ReplyDeleteI know, I love Disney! I did a backlist challenge this year and that has really helped!
DeleteSalt to the Sea is on my list too this week!
ReplyDeleteMy TTT post!
Awesome!
Deleteunfortunately, I have not
ReplyDeleteThat's ok!
DeleteI want to read Salt to the Sea it looks so good. I think I now own two of her books.
ReplyDeleteI hope we both enjoy it!
DeleteI haven't read any of theses books. I hope you can get to them yourself one day. I hear Salt to the Sea is pretty good.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a lovely weekend ahead. 💋 xoxo
