Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. This week's topic is a freebie, so I've decided to do something non-bookish. If you follow me on Instagram, you know I love jigsaw puzzles, specifically 500 piece puzzles. They can be challenging but not too hard, something I can work on over the course of a couple days. It's so satisfying to see them come together, and Henry loves looking at the final product! At the time I'm putting together this post, I've done 43 puzzles this year, and here are some of my favorites!
Do you enjoy jigsaw puzzles?

I'm not much of an actual puzzle person, but I have many friends who are. I think I like my 'puzzles' to be in my mystery books - ha! However, enjoy, enjoy!!
ReplyDeleteHaha, thanks, Kay!
DeleteGreat post! All of these puzzles look amazing. I always want to get more into these hobbies that end up with you having beautiful new creations at the end but I never know what to do with them and I stop myself from just adding to the piles of things I accumulate 🤣
ReplyDeleteI love jigsaw puzzles, too! 500 pieces is a good size.
ReplyDeleteIt can challenging but not too difficult!
DeleteThese all look so pretty and fun! I like puzzles, but I think the only reason I don't do it more is that I don't really have a space where the puzzle can lay until I've finished it, and I don't think I could finish one in just one sitting (I'd rather work on them over the course of couple days like you).
ReplyDeleteI hear ya! I just have a small table that I can use.
DeleteI have not done a puzzle in many years, but it's a good brain exercise. Love the cats!
ReplyDeleteThe cat ones are so cute!
DeleteI liked your idea of 500 piece puzzles as a busy mother! That is a good idea!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I just started a 1000 piece one, just to see, and it is really challenging me!
DeleteI haven't done puzzles in a while, but in the past I've listened to audiobooks while doing them.

That's what my sister does!
DeleteI used to love jigsaw puzzles, i'd set them up on a cardtable near the fireplace and spend the winter assembling. it was always tough when we had to put them away. so much work went into putting them together it seemed wrong to take them apart. https://getlostinlit.blogspot.com/2024/12/top-ten-unread-books-i-own.html
ReplyDeleteAgreed! I take pictures of all of them and I leave them out for a little while to enjoy!

ReplyDeleteLove all of these! I definitely enjoy my puzzles and audiobook time.
ReplyDeleteIt can be really relaxing!
DeleteLove all these, especially Happy Plants and Garden Path. I got my MIL and my mom puzzles this year for Christmas. :)
ReplyDeleteAwesome! Garden Path is so pretty.
DeleteI love this idea so much! I love jigsaw puzzles though I haven't made one in years. I should get some new ones, and the one's on your list look amazing. Especially Woodland Pass and The Magic Of Stories:)

Thank you! I hope you find some puzzles to enjoy!
DeleteI love puzzles but don't get to do many. What do you do with them once they're done?
ReplyDeleteI share them with my sister, then I will try to do them at least one more time. Then, they get donated to the library friends' group!
DeleteI'm a seasonal puzzler--starting around Thanksgiving and finishing up in mid-January. I usually do 3-4 puzzles, some of them repeats. Garden Path and Happy Plants are right up my alley--I also like literary related puzzles, and places I like to visit.
ReplyDeleteIt's a great time of year to do puzzles!
DeleteI love puzzles but I never seem to find any that are as cool as the ones you find.
ReplyDeleteHaha, I am always on the hunt for a good puzzle!
DeleteMy parents love puzzles! I think I'm too high strung for them. I get frustrated if a project takes me more than a few hours. That's probably why I can never finish cleaning out my closet. :)
ReplyDeleteHaha, true! That's why I stick with the 500 piece ones. I'm actually doing a 1000 piece right now and it is driving me CRAZY with how long it's taking!
DeleteI love puzzles, this post is perfect! I love the Magic fo Stories one! I actually might just pick that one up to do over the holidays. I also really like the Woodland Pass and Spooky Portraits ones. And now I'm off to check out your other picks! :)
ReplyDeleteAww, thanks, Jordan! There are so many good ones out there!
