Michele's 2025 Reading Wrap-Up!

2025 was a fantastic reading year!  I was able to read 263 books – here is my breakdown by format, genre and source:

My most read authors were Stuart Gibbs (11), Sierra Simone (4), and Amalie Howard (4).  I also read 8 anthologies.  Romance was still my top genre, but I definitely branched out into some new genres.  Here are some of my favorites of the year:

  2. Michele, you are amazing in your reading! I've got The Academy on my shelf and my afternoon book group is reading Wild Dark Shore in June. Several others are catching my eye. Good luck with your 2026 reading!

  5. Wow! Do you think you got your money's worth reading only 31 books with your KU? I am so cheap. I would have to read more (which is why I got rid of my subscription). I loved The Favorites and Spectacular Things. Great books!

    1. Now i wait until i have a few books in KU to read then i'll buy it for just a month or two at a time - I don't read as much from there so i definitely don't keep the subscription running all of the time!

  7. I am always so impressed by the number of books you read! Incredible, really! I also loved Broken Country, Wild Dark Shore, The Favorites, and Spectacular Things - we have a lot in common! Here's to a great 2026 in books!
