Summer TBR Wipeout 2017: Intro Post

When I saw that The Candid Cover was hosting the Summer TBR Wipeout, it was the perfect opportunity to finally get to some books that have been sitting on my shelves for awhile and clear out some titles from my TBR (especially because there are tons of great books coming out later in the year!).

Here are the books I've chosen for the Summer TBR Wipeout:

What are you planning to read this summer?

  1. I think I'm going to participate in this challenge as well. I'm doing one backlist challenge but it spans an entire year and I need more deadlines within the year to keep me moving on those older books. I'm pretty sure Caraval will be on my list as well. I've wanted to read it for so long now and just keep shuffling it down my TBR pile.

    1. That's exactly why I wanted to do this challenge - I keep adding new books to my TBR and the stuff at the bottom gets lost, so this will help me get to some of those!

  2. I love the variety of genres you have chosen for your TBR! I hope that you enjoy Caraval. It is one of my favourite books of the year. Good luck with your reading and thanks so much for joining us. :)

  3. Sarah Pekkanen is one of my favorite contemporary writers (have you read Skipping a Beat by her? It's so good!), but I haven't had the chance to check out Things You Won't Say Yet. I'll be curious to see what you have to say about it. I read Caraval at the start of the summer and thought it was only so-so but I hope you enjoy it. Happy reading! :)

    1. I loved Skipping a Beat - it was my first book by Sarah Pekkanen. Some of her other books have been hit or miss for me. I bought Things You Won't Say awhile ago. I just started Caraval and so far it's okay!

  4. I must get around to reading Letters to the Lost and Caraval - I've heard endless good things about them!

Best of luck and happy reading!
