Top Ten Tuesday: New-To-Me Authors in 2019

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl.  This week is a freebie, so I decided to spotlight authors I read for the first time in 2019.  I have my favorite authors that I tend to read a lot, but I'm always interested in trying authors that other bloggers are raving about.  Here are some new-to-me authors I finally read in 2019!

What author did you read for the first time in 2019?

  1. I love Tracey Garvis Graves. I read On the Island back in 2012 and absolutely fell in love with it. And now 7 years later another of her books, The Girl I Used to Know, is one of my favorites of the year. I've only read one by Jenn Bennett so far but definitely want to read more. And Christina Lauren are so, so good. This year's Twice in a Blue Moon wasn't my favorite by them, but there are several others that I really loved: Autoboyography, Love and Other Words, The Unhoneymooners, Josh & Hazel's Guide to Not Dating. Love them! ♥

  14. I read 7 of these books, and six are by authors I have read multiple books from. West, Bennett, CLo, and Lu are all auto-reads for me. I am still working my way through Hall's backlist, but I enjoy her humor.

  16. I just bought The Girl He Used to Know! So many of my blogger buddies have raved about it! The Unhoneymooners was fun. The Bathroom of Doom!! Hahaha! Starry Eyes and Jenn Bennett are fantastic. Jenn Bennett is my JAM! You should try The Lady Rogue! I think it's something you'd enjoy, since you like historical elements. It's about Vlad!
