Top Ten Tuesday: Auto-Buy Authors

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl.  This week's topic is auto-buy authors.  There are actually very few authors that I will buy (and usually pre-order) every single book they release - in fact, there are just two:

There are also two series that I've been invested in for a long time and when (if?) the next book is released, I will buy those, too, to complete my collections:

I have a few other favorite authors that I follow closely; I may not buy every book they release, but they are definitely auto-reads for me:

Are any of these authors auto-reads or auto-buys for you, too?

  1. Oooh, I've heard such good things about Daisy Jones -- I haven't got to it yet though.

  3. Great list! Kate Morton and Taylor Jenkins Reid are both authors whose work I want to try. I've never had much interest in reading A Song of Ice and Fire, but after the show's super disappointing final season I'm wondering if I should start reading the books.

    1. I read the books before the show started, and I never got beyond the first season of the show!

  4. Yes! I love Taylor Jenkins Reid and Beatriz Williams - I have read most of their books. I also read my first Fiona Davis book and definitely want to read more. I am patiently waiting on the next Outlander book - one of my favorite series for sure!

  6. I don’t think I’ll ever read everything George RR Martin writes, but I definitely need to finish the GoT books. I’ve only read the first 3.

  7. I really enjoyed All We Ever Wanted. And I would love to get my hands on The Golden Hour, it sounds like it would be a really good read.

  10. I thought I might see Kate Morton on your list this week! I keep meaning to start Outlander, I've had the first book sitting at my shelves for years staring at me waiting for me to read it. Beatriz WIlliams and Fiona Davis are two authors I'm hoping to check out soon!

  11. I adore Kinsella. I still need to try her Wickham books, but I have really enjoyed all her Shopaholic and standalone books.

    1. Her Wickham books have a very different feel that I'm not quite sure I like as much as her other books!
