Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. This week's topic is our fall TBR. I want to try to read some creepy/scary books to fit the season, so I have some of those mixed in with other books I want to read:
Have you read any of these? Where should I start?
I read (listened actually)The Dry and liked it but had some issues with it. I so need to read Crazy Rich Asians too. Hope you get to and love these!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Grace!
DeleteGreat list! I've heard good things about The Dry. Hope you enjoy all of these!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jess!
DeleteThe Lantern's Ember sounds fun, and I really want to read Guess Who as well.

Guess Who sounds so creepy!
DeleteYes, Jane Harper on your list finally!
ReplyDeleteHaha, because of you!
DeleteI hope you love them all! I might try another Paul Tremblay book eventually. People seem to love them.
ReplyDeleteAj @ Read All The Things!
I've never read anything by him, so I'll see how this one goes!
DeleteThe Last Castle is on my nightstand, but I haven't read it yet... maybe for Nonfiction November. Good luck with your list!
ReplyDeleteThanks, JoAnn! Yes, I might read it for Nonfiction November, too!
DeleteMy suggestion is to start with THE DRY. It's very good.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kay! My sister loved that one, too.
DeleteStart with Evelyn Hardcastle! I'd love to know what you think of it! I'm not very far into the story yet, but it's so fascinating.
ReplyDeleteI'm just waiting for my library to start lending it out!
DeleteI just finished My Plain Jane and I enjoyed it so much! I hope you love all of these!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Tracy!
DeleteI haven't read any of these but I want to read several of them like The 7 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle, Fly Girls, Our House, The Dry...
ReplyDeleteWe always seem to enjoy similar books!
DeleteI didn't put it on my list but I'm really hoping to get to Crazy Rich Asians this fall too!
ReplyDeleteYeah, the library wait list is kinda long, probably because of the movie!
DeleteI don't know why Plain Jane was getting such a bad rap. I liked it. There are a ton of pop culture and other references, which became my favorite thing to spot. I am a Crazy Rich Asian fan too.
ReplyDeleteI think My Plain Jane will be a lot of fun!
DeleteI've seen a few good reviews for the 7 1/2 Deaths so far, so I'm leaning towards getting that one. It sounds unique and original.
ReplyDeleteHey. Great list! I did like the Crazy Rich Asians but I wasn't a fan of the sequels. My Plain Jane is a book that I've been hearing so much about that I think I'd like to read it too.
ReplyDeleteI figured I would start with the first one and see how it goes!
Delete7 1/2 Deaths sound really interesting, but maybe it's because the book might deal with death? I haven't read Crazy Rich Asians, though I'm very interested in watching it sometime in the near future. (Hasn't happened yet, but it will. Even if it's on DvD.)
ReplyDeleteBest of luck with getting through your TBR!
Yeah, 7 1/2 Deaths is a murder mystery!
DeleteThanks, Sophia!
I listened to Crazy Rich Asians before I saw the movie (which I totally loved). It's a fun little thing.
ReplyDeleteI'm also looking forward to giving the Jane series a go someday. They look promising.
Happy reading!

ReplyDeleteThanks, Erica!
