Guys, this is my first book haul post! I've really cut down on the number of books I've been buying in recent years, so I don't normally have a lot to show, but the Project Linus chapter we work with was doing a Barnes & Noble fundraiser a few weeks ago, so I thought it was the perfect opportunity to finally use some of my gift cards and support one of my favorite charities at the same time!
Have you read any of these? Where should I start first?
Definitely the Paris wife, I think! My favourite city and what sounds like an intense relationship...
ReplyDeleteyeah, that one sounds really good!
Delete40 Love looks cute!! The Paris Wife also sounds good. Enjoy these!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I've enjoyed Madeleine Wickham's books, they're darker than the ones she writes as Sophie Kinsella.
DeleteI haven’t read any of them, but I hope you like them!
ReplyDeleteAj @ Read All The Things!
Thanks, Aj!
DeleteMy book hauls have come lately in the form of E-books. If it's $1.99, I can't NOT buy it!
ReplyDeleteGood thing I don't have a Kindle, or I'd be broke!
DeleteThe Paris Wife was a decent read. I love Hemingway, but wasn't a big fan of his portrayal in this book or his marriage. I am interested in your thoughts on Chilbury Choir. Enjoy your books!
ReplyDeleteThanks! Those were two I've seen around a lot, so I figured I'd try them out!
DeleteI need to slow down with the book buying. There are only a handful of books in the latter part of 2018 that I have my eye on, so hopefully this will keep me from buying too much. Hope you enjoy all your new books!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Alicia! Yeah, I don't buy a whole lot of books these days, except for a couple authors that I always pre-order from.
DeleteI haven't read any of these books but I want to buy most of them. :P
ReplyDeleteHaha, nice!!
DeleteI haven't read any of these yet, but I usually enjoy Anna Quindlen's books so I can't wait to see what you think of Miller's Valley.
ReplyDeleteI've seen other bloggers rave about her, so I figured I'd try it out!
DeleteAwesome haul! I haven't read any of these but the The Uncertain Season sounds great!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Erica!
DeleteThat sounds like a great reason to me to use some gift cards. :) I've not read any of these, but I have seen so many good things about The Paris Wife and The Chilbury Ladies' Choir, both of which I'd love to read. Really hope you enjoy them all!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jordan! Yes, I've seen those two around quite a bit, so I figured I would try them!
DeleteAny reason is a good reason to buy books. :) These look lovely. I hope you love them! Thanks for stopping by too!
