Holiday Decorations for Book Lovers

We all love to give and receive books and bookish gifts during the holidays, but how about taking it one step further and using our holiday decorations to reflect our love of reading?  Here are some fun ways to incorporate books and reading into your holiday d├ęcor!

1. Paper Garland (Etsy) - starting at $10.00
2. Snow is Falling, Book is Calling Print (Etsy) - $5.00
3. Origami Christmas Tree (Etsy)

4. Christmas at the Burrow Candle (Frostbeard Studio) - $18.00
5. Wuthering Heights Christmas Ornament (Etsy) - $16.50
6. All I Want for Christmas is My Hogwarts Letter Pillow (Society6) - starting at $29.99

7. Book Page Wreath (Etsy) - $35.00
8. Madeline Book Paper Tree (Etsy) - $35.00

** I apologize if any of these items are not available!  I've been checking these as close to the post going live as I could, but since some of them are one-of-a-kind, they could be bought at any time and the links will no longer work!

What are some of your favorite holiday decorations?  Would you ever upcycle an old book into something new, or would it be too hard to destroy a book?

  1. OMG I love all of these and need to redecorate my house for Christmas now. I especially love #2 for a certain person I know....

  2. I love the snow is falling, book is calling print. I definitely need that for my apartment! As for holiday decorations, I barely own any lol I was tempted to buy a tree this year for my apartment, but since I'm going home for half of December/January I couldn't really justify it. One of these days I'm sure I'll give in though since there's not much I love more than a decorated christmas tree. Great post, Angela! :)

    1. Thanks, Lauren! We don't have a lot of holiday decorations, either. We've never put up a tree because we didn't have room for it. We did do lights outside, though, this year, which is fun!

  3. I love this list! That book paper tree is so beautiful, that would look amazing in my little apartment (especially since I only have Christmas decorations at my family house and not our apartment!). That Christmas at the Burrow candle sounds so cozy and perfect. I think I'll have to share this list with some fellow book lovers that I know would love to have these. Great post! :)

    1. Thanks, Jordan! I know, I love that these are decorations that would work in smaller spaces.

  4. If only I had more time to be crafty! I love the trees and wreath made from pages, but would like to try myself.

    1. Thanks, Suzanne! Since I'm in charge of decorating our house, I'm sure I could get away with a few of these!
