Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. This week's topic is books we've read because someone recommended them to us. Although not all specifically recommended to me, I've put together a list of books that I came across through other bloggers, ones that I might not have heard of otherwise that I ended up reading because of them.
Pancakes in Paris: Living the American Dream in France - recommended by Emma at Words and Peace
Relish: My Life in the Kitchen - recommended by Stacked
Virginia and The Vagabond - recommended by Stephanie at Bookfever
The Duke and I - recommended by Christina at Confessions of a Book Addict
Jackie After Jack: Portrait of the Lady - recommended by Amy at A Magical World of Words
Southern Lady Code - recommended by Susie at Novel Visits
Goodbye, Perfect - recommended by Suzanne at The Bookish Libra
The Last - recommended by Jennifer - Tar Heel Reader
What's the best book recommendation you've ever gotten?
Great list! I love the cover of Goodbye, Perfect.

DeletePancakes in Paris is a title I've been so curious about. There are more than a few items on here that I don't know too!!
ReplyDeletePancakes in Paris was a great nonfiction read!
DeleteI want to keep track of things like this, but can only really remember the books my daughter recommended to me. I love Bernard's books and have been lucky enough to read them all.
ReplyDeleteI try to keep a note on my TBR of where I found a particular book!
DeleteYay for Virginia and The Vagabond! :D

DeleteI still haven’t read Southern Lady Code. I loved the author’s other book, so I’m not sure why I haven’t picked it up yet.
ReplyDeleteAj @ Read All The Things!
I think you'd like it, the humor reminds me of you!

DeleteThis is a fun list, I love how you remember so many bloggers who recommended a book! Virginia & the Vagabond is on my TBR as well, and I do think it was indeed also Stephanie who brought the book to my attention :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lindsey! I hope you enjoy it!
DeleteThe Duke and I is so much fun! Thanks for including me on your list. Will you read it before the show premieres in December on Netflix? I can't wait. I hope to continue with the series--it was a great escape!
ReplyDeleteI read it and really enjoyed it! I'll have to remember to look for it on Netflix!
DeleteI love that so many different bloggers have hooked you up with such great recommendations.
ReplyDeleteThat's what I love so much about this community!

ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeletePancakes in Paris sounds awesome. And ooh the Jameson book- I remember thinking that sounded good!
ReplyDeleteIt really was - a very intriguing premise!
DeleteThe only one I have read is The Duke and I -- which I will be rereading this week for a Bridgerton group read in preparation for the show coming out on Dec. 25. Goodbye, Perfect sounds like a good but in some ways emotionally difficult book.
ReplyDeleteI will have to keep an eye out for The Duke and I on Netflix!
