Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. This week's topic is popular authors we haven't read. Even with as much as I read, there are still authors I haven't tried. There are always authors I plan on reading but just haven't yet, but there are also others I don't have a big interest in reading, for various reasons (they write in a genre I'm not really interested in, for example). But of course, never say never! Here is a list of popular authors I haven't read:
- Sarah J. Maas
- Ali Hazelwood
- Lucy Score
- Jenny Colgan
- Jenny Han
- Jill Shalvis
- TJ Klune
- Sarah Adams
- Carley Fortune
- Rebecca Yarros
Who are some popular authors you haven't read yet?
Ah, authors we haven't tried - long list for all of us I suspect. I'm not sure I've read books by any of the ones you listed - maybe one by Jill Shalvis. I do have friends who have enjoyed Jenny Colgan's books.
ReplyDeleteI've heard good things about both!
DeleteI haven’t read Sarah J. Maas either!
ReplyDeleteHere is my Top Ten Tuesday post.
Lydia
I'm glad I'm not the only one - feels that way sometimes!
DeleteI've read all of these but 1 and 4. 1 was on my list today as well. I think you would enjoy the other authors.
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping to try some of them soon!
DeleteYou are in good company! I don't think I've read any of those authors, either.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lisa!
DeleteI see a mixture of autobuy authors and authors I haven't read myself here. Also, we have Jenny Han in common.
ReplyDeleteMy TTT: https://laurieisreading.com/2023/11/14/top-ten-tuesday-mainstream-popular-authors-that-i-still-have-not-read/
She is very popular, but I just don't read as much YA lately!
DeleteI see several on there that I hear so many good things about!
ReplyDeleteI know!!
DeleteThis is the first list where I have read every author. Shalvis is one of my favorites, and both Fortune's books were great.
ReplyDeleteAhh, that's cool! I definitely need to try Shalvis.
DeleteI have seen Rebecca Yarros on just about every blog today. I guess I will have to add her too!
ReplyDeleteHaha, it feels like everyone is reading her lately!
DeleteWith the exception of Colgan (whose books I love), I haven't read any of these either. I hope you enjoy these authors when you get to them.
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT!
Thanks, Susan!
DeleteI've read almost everything by Sarah J. Maas and Ali Hazelwood and loved most of their books. I've read one book by Jenny Han, T.J. Klune and Rebecca Yarros (loved Fourth Wing!)
ReplyDeleteI definitely need to catch up!
DeleteAhhh! OMG. You need to read Sarah J. Mass, Jenny Han, Hazelwood and Carley Fortune's 1st book! Jenny Colgan's books are sweet, too if you are in the mood for something very light.
ReplyDeleteMy sister is pretty appalled that I haven't read Hazelwood yet!
DeleteI've read all of these authors except for Jenny Colgan, Jill Shalvis and Sarah Adams, but I do hope to try them some day!
ReplyDeleteMe, too!
DeleteI've always been very attached to Jenny Han's To All the Boys series, but couldn't say whether it stands the test of time. I've only read one Hazelwood which I thought was decent, but probably won't pick her up again.
ReplyDeleteMy sister is always recommending Hazelwood to me!
DeleteI've probably only read about half of these but Ali Hazelwood, Carly Fortune and Rebecca Yarros are auto-reads for me!
ReplyDeleteI definitely need to try some new authors!
DeleteI've read Maas (only the ACOTAR series), Hazelwood (only one, probably won't read more), Shalvis, Adams (only one), Klune (only one but will definitely finish the Green Creek series - not interested in his others), and Yarros (many). I have no interest in Score, Colgan or Han.
ReplyDeleteYeah, some of the YA ones I probably won't ever end up reading!
DeleteTJ Klune is one I want to read too.
ReplyDeleteI see his books everywhere!
DeleteI completely blanked out on this topic for some reason. I guess I read a lot of popular mainstream authors. I've read all from your list, although I ended up DNFing the one Jenny Colgan book I tried because I didn't realize it was a sequel so I was just lost. I hope to get the first book at some point so I can try again.
ReplyDeleteI think because I haven't been reading as much the last couple years, I've kind of been sticking to my favorites and not branching out as much and trying new authors!
