Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. This week's topic is books we love that were written over 10 years ago. This was a pretty easy topic for me - my shelves are filled with older releases that I love and have reread many times. So, here are some of my favorites!
The Devil Wears Prada (2003)
The Historian (2005)
Something Borrowed (2004)
The Night Circus (2011)
The House at Riverton (2006)
Outlander (1991)
The Devil in the White City (2003)
The Botticelli Secret (2010)
The Da Vinci Code (2003)
A Game of Thrones (1996)
What are some of your favorites?
Oooh! Outlander. Da Vinci Code, Game of Thrones, loved them all! :)
ReplyDeleteSo great, right?
DeleteThe Devil Wears Prada and The Night Circus made my list this week too.
ReplyDeleteYay!
DeleteI am shocked I have read none of the books on your list. I did start Outlander, but that dialect was too much a chore for me.
ReplyDeleteI'm shocked, too!
DeleteOutlander has been a popular pick this week!

Definitely!
DeleteI bought The Devil in the White City! Now I need to find time to read it.
ReplyDeleteI think you'll love it!
DeleteYay for Outlander! I have fallen behind on the series but there was a time when I was obsessed with all things Outlander. :)
ReplyDeleteI still have to read the most recent book!
DeleteThe Night Circus made my list too! It was surprising to me that it was already released that long ago... I also loved Outlander, The Devil Wears Prada and The Da Vinci Code!
ReplyDeleteYeah, it just slipped in there!
DeleteA Game of Thrones- wow it's been a while huh? :) I wonder if we'll ever see The Winds of Winter...
ReplyDeleteI haven't read Night Circus but I did read her The Starless sea and that was pretty wild!
Haha, I doubt it!
DeleteI love The Night Circus! Outlander and The DaVinci Code are both on my to-read list.
ReplyDeleteThe Night Circus is just so beautiful!
DeleteI still need to read The Night Circus and I don't know why I haven't read it yet because I know I am going to love it! Great list! :)
ReplyDeleteYes, read it!!
DeleteThe Historian is definitely a favorite of mine as well. I still need to read Outlander!
ReplyDeleteAlways love to see more love for The Historian!
DeleteI love the Da Vinci Code as well!! And Angels and Demons. They’re really creative and fun to try and puzzle solve.
ReplyDeleteYes, exactly! I feel like I learn so much reading those books.
DeleteI've only read The Night Circus of these, and sadly it wasn't really for me, that very descriptive writing style just isn't really my thing, but I'm glad so many people love it so much.

Yes, definitely not for everyone!
DeleteDespite liking the film adaptation for The Devil Wears Prada, I never read the novel. I've also seen Something Borrowed too but never read the books. :)
ReplyDeleteThe movies are really quite different from the books!
