LOL

I am right there with you - I read and loved Me Before You, and I am very hesitant about picking up After You. Why mess with (near) perfection?

Great idea for a post!Angie Ellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07249381298879375473noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6130637022613050517.post-91904810321709045292017-01-22T15:10:12.746-05:002017-01-22T15:10:12.746-05:00I totally agree! I doubt I will read The Cursed Child, because I've heard not so great things about it and to me it just doesn't fit with the original series.Angelahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16746631124966726182noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6130637022613050517.post-32614714074912352352017-01-22T15:08:27.570-05:002017-01-22T15:08:27.570-05:00Go Set a Watchman, definitely. I mean, it was so many years after the original, and the original is such an American classic.Angelahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16746631124966726182noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6130637022613050517.post-26311445366449041592017-01-21T19:56:02.128-05:002017-01-21T19:56:02.128-05:00just like those harry potter sequels or harry pott...just like those harry potter sequels or harry potter related books - I just think they ruin the original somehow, unless it's a series to begin with, I don't see why it needs a sequel, it's not like the movies, at least those, you don't waste as much time to watch and you can always tell if it's bad, a book is different, books are more precious because we take more time reading them.

anyway, just my 2 cents, have a lovely day.lissahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11012085842881252635noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6130637022613050517.post-10086624595238278632017-01-21T09:50:53.420-05:002017-01-21T09:50:53.420-05:00I definitely agree that a lot of books get unneces...I definitely agree that a lot of books get unnecessary sequels. Go Set a Watchman is one that I feel was probably unnecessary. I chose not to read it, so I can't say for sure if it didn't live up to To Kill a Mockingbird. That book was perfect for me, though. I didn't need any more story.
I was one of the rare people that wasn't a fan of Me Before You. *hides* So I won't be reading that sequel either.

Great post and thanks for linking up on Saturday Situation!Lorihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11579708407259122426noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6130637022613050517.post-71327743691164019932017-01-16T15:21:47.692-05:002017-01-16T15:21:47.692-05:00Yes, it does! I liked it fine but wasn't nearly as good as Me Before You and would have been fin if it was left alone. Also I had no idea The Devil Wears Prada had a sequel!Grace @ RebelMommyBookBloghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10129217535499024513noreply@blogger.com
